I am honoured to write this tribute to my mother. Everyone loved my mother. What a lovely lady that
battled with cancer for over 26 years. Her family were her life. She was a dressmaker tailoress
who could make anything she also did beautiful embroidery. She became ill but refused to let it get
her down. She battled on still looking after everyone when it should have been everyone looking
after her. She lived one day at a time and said she had too much to do to be poorly. She loved
life liked icing cakes still ran an alteration service till she died. Travelled all over the world.
Fullfilled all her wishes before she died one of them was to go to see Aunt Molly in Australia.
Passed her driving test. Saw her grandaughter being born and called after her. When she lost her
grandson Craig she was devastated but managed to hold us all up as usual. She loved dancing and a
good party. If you went to mums you were getting fed no matter what with one of her big dinners or
her delicious cakes or biscuits. She made all my clothes when I was small all her own designs.She
was one very talented lady. I still have my wedding dress she made for me which I will treasure with
pride. I was so pleased when you loved and welcomed Steve into our family. I am proud of my mum she
was an angel on earth and now she is one in heaven. R.i.p. mum you were my guardian angel. I love

To my dearest family some things Id like to say
But first of all,to let you know,that I arrived ok
I'm writing this from heaven here I dwell with God above
Here theres no more tears of sadness;here is just eternal love
Please dont be unhappy just because I'm out of sight
Remember I am with you morning noon and night
The day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through
God picked me up and hugged me & said Patsy I welcome you
Its good to have you back again you were missed while you were gone
As for your family they'll be here later on.

Theres so much we have to do to help our mortal man
God gave me lots of things that he wished for me to do
And formost on the list was to watch and care for you
And when you lie in bed at night the days chores put to flight
God and I are closest to you in the middle of the night
When you think of my life on earth and all those loving years,
Because you are only human they are bound to bring you tears
But do not be afraid to cry it does realieve the pain
Remember they would be no flowers if we didnt have some rain
I wish I could tell you all that God has got planned
But if I were to tell you you wouldnt understand
But one thing is for certain thou my life on earth is o'er
Im closer to you now than I ever was before
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time
It was always my philosophy & I'd like it for you too
That as you give unto the world t6he world will give to you
If you can help somebody whos in sorrow and in pain
Then you can say to god at night My day was not in vain
And now I am contented that my life has been worthwhile
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile
So if you meet somebody whos sad and feeling low
Just lend a hand to pick them up as on your way you go
When your walking down the street and youve got me on your mind
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind
And when its time for you to go from that body to be free

The best
I loved my Nanna with all my heart and always will, I didn't feel her loss as badly as I expected because I was glad she wasn't suffering any more and I will always be eternally grateful for the time we did have her.
Feel sad that now when we could be looking after her,we are unable to do so and repay some of what we owe!!!
Kennedy speaks frequently of her Nanna Pat and has memories of her which shows what a big part of our lives she was.I will make sure that my next child knows how wonderful she was too but can't help but have regrets that he/she will never be fortunate to have her in their life.
Love and miss you more than can be written down.

Nana you were a friend to me and one i loved so dear, It's been hard living here on earth without having you near. I think of all the happy times and my eyes quickly get wetter, The only thing that keeps me going is knowing you're somewhere better. So i'll have to keep my head up and ignore the pain in my chest, everyone will argue their grans are great but nan you were the best. I will always love you nana you will never be forgotten. I just hope one day I get the chance to meet you again

Hi aunt Pat
Miss you loads, especially the Sunday dinners and the long chats...The weekends I spent at yours and grans were the best. They were even worth the taunts from Elayne. Tell you what though, I'm the lucky one who got the foodie gene. Oh boy do I miss the cabbage in bechamel sauce. Hope you will be cheering for Elayne and me when we do the race for life. We will make you proud!

Best Nanna ever!
I know people always think that their Nanna was the best ,but I know that mine was.She was so kind,thoughtful and gentle,yet had an unseen strength that was to see us all through the bad times (and we had more than our fair share).
A friend and confidante she was, as well as the best role model and an inspiration to get the most out of life by being strong and working hard!!!
Miss you more than words could ever say but just thank the lord for sending you to us in the first place.Your job was done and you're time to rest had come.
