I am honoured to write this tribute to my mother. Everyone loved my mother. What a lovely lady that
battled with cancer for over 26 years. Her family were her life. She was a dressmaker tailoress
who could make anything she also did beautiful embroidery. She became ill but refused to let it get
her down. She battled on still looking after everyone when it should have been everyone looking
after her. She lived one day at a time and said she had too much to do to be poorly. She loved
life liked icing cakes still ran an alteration service till she died. Travelled all over the world.
Fullfilled all her wishes before she died one of them was to go to see Aunt Molly in Australia.
Passed her driving test. Saw her grandaughter being born and called after her. When she lost her
grandson Craig she was devastated but managed to hold us all up as usual. She loved dancing and a
good party. If you went to mums you were getting fed no matter what with one of her big dinners or
her delicious cakes or biscuits. She made all my clothes when I was small all her own designs.She
was one very talented lady. I still have my wedding dress she made for me which I will treasure with
pride. I was so pleased when you loved and welcomed Steve into our family. I am proud of my mum she
was an angel on earth and now she is one in heaven. R.i.p. mum you were my guardian angel. I love
you mum Elayne-Marie xxx Much loved wife of the late Robert (bob) Cundale Beloved daughter of
Patrick and Jessie Shields and sister of Marjorie and James Shields.Loving Auntie to Anne, Kieth
